CDS Vintec Workshop & Technical Support Services

Our Paarl based workshop (including spare parts store) is central to the area that we service and allows for quick response times in sorting out breakages and/or supplying other general technical services. It is also conveniently placed for clients to drop off equipment for servicing.

Installation, Service & Repairs Services

Our experienced Technical Department provides support to winemakers, bottling & packaging line personnel, brew masters and other technical staff to ensure that our innovative capital equipment portfolio is well maintained.  The workshop personnel are fully qualified and trained to Install, Commission & Service the various equipment items we supply and are regularly sent to our European suppliers for continued training on new equipment and refresher courses on others. We keep stock of crucial spare parts. Careful documentation regarding the detail of our ongoing installations allows for ease of referencing & identification of any spare part that might be needed. If it needs to be imported, established relationships with our suppliers and with respected overnight courier services ensure quick turn-around times.

Specialised Expertise  / “1-Stop shop”

We have established professional relationships with independent contractors to provide specialized expertise, should it be needed as part of a project.  It allows our clients the convenience of having one contact person for a project and prevents “finger pointing” where more than one supplier might be involved in solving a problem as we accept full responsibility for the total project.

Servicing of pumps

Our workshop offers a specialized and knowledgeable service & repair capability for almost any pump used in the food and beverage sector.  We normally have special pre harvest deals at a discounted labour cost from November - Mid December  every year, preceding the annual wine grape harvest. Our Technical staff can assist with any stainless steel welding requirement, smaller cellar infrastructure (walkways, steps, railings etc) engineering projects and assistance to find any fitting or seal that you might need in a winery, brewery or beverage filling installation. Stainless Steel welding & fittings

Our stainless steel welding ability, combined with our technical comprehension of the industry we serve, allows for value adding support to cellar masters, brew masters and bottling line managers.. We can manufacture (weld together) any fitting (NW, DIN, Garolla) , valve, flange and/or various other items (sample and gauge cocks, ball and butterfly valves etc) that might be required for a specific need. We can also source the most appropriate fitting, seal or other technical item that you might for your project.

Supply of Spiral Flexible hosing (made-up with the required fittings)

We supply a highly specialised flexible spiral hosing solution for any food liquid production requirement (suitable for an alcohol content of up to 50% and for temperatures up to 40C̊ ) in a minimum length of 5 m (available in 5m increments up to 25 m) with various diameters and pressure resistance capabilities (varying from 5 – 7 Bar). Our workshop can attach any fitting needed for a specific application for which the hosing will be needed.

Small Infrastructure projects

We specialize in the manufacture and installation of smaller infrastructure installations at cellars & other production facilities (catwalks, platforms, stairs, railings etc) that many of the bigger service suppliers are not interested to do.

We manufacture Column Stills for Craft Distilleries and in association with a Master Distiller from a leading Craft Distillery, can assist with providing the technical knowledge needed to get started or expand existing operations.
